Awaodori- Beginner

Last weekend, I went to see my friends perform in the Awa Odori festival. It is a famous traditional dance festival in Japan, usually held in the summer. Many dancers wear colorful costumes and move together in long lines. The music is very lively, with drums, flutes, and shamisen.

When I arrived, I saw a big crowd of people watching the dancers. My friends were smiling and dancing with great energy. They lifted their hands and moved their feet quickly to the music. The audience clapped and cheered loudly.

I felt very happy to see my friends perform. The atmosphere was exciting, and everyone looked like they were enjoying the festival. After the dance, we met and took photos together. It was a special memory for me.
